Why “The OG”, though?
This fragranced moisturiser was Treebrush Apothecary’s first dabble with emulsified lotions, serving as a base to test a fairly large selection of fragrance oils. As the dabbling focused on the formulations themselves over time, a flatmate declared: “Can’t you just make the OG lotion again, with that amazing fragrance?”
…swiftly followed by “I can’t believe you’re actually calling this thing ‘The OG’…”
The final outcome of these long-term experiments is a simple, creamy fragranced moisturisers that’s true to its roots – with few ingredients and a variety of epic scents (and an unfragranced version available too). Using plant-based oils, New Zealand honey, and a dash of oatmeal, this is a surpisingly heavy-duty moisturiser that happily absorbs into and nourishes dry skin. Slap it on dry limbs, elbows and knees, exceptionally dry or overwashed hands, or from head-to-toe for well-loved skin.
The lightly fragranced versions provide a two-in-one kick for the efficient among us, perfect for after your gym shower or as part of your before-work ritual. Sensitive skin? There’s an unfragranced option too!
How big is this tin?
This is the same tin used in the medium-sized Treebrush Apothecary balms, and slips happily into toiletry bags and handbags, hiking packs and satchels, or sitting quietly on a work desk. They’re ideal for testing out a variety of fragrances before committing to a larger tin!
